Velocity Boca Raton Inc. is a non profit multi resource organization that will cater to the social, academic, financial, and physical needs of youth and young professionals in the Greater Boca Raton area. The organization will exist to support its community, by educating and enabling youth and young professionals to further develop their talents and skills while serving the community in which they live. The organizational goals are to relieve the poor, distressed and underprivileged youth in our community, assist our youth by offering support in the areas of education, healthy living, finance management, interpersonal relationships, foster a cohesive community atmosphere by bridging the gap between racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and religious differences, provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment, prevent juvenile delinquency and unhealthy behaviors, inspire youth to reach their potential in their personal and professional lives, and empower young people to build success in their relationships, academics, community contributions, and career.

To provide youth with a place where they can develop strong relationships in a fun, healthy community.

To relieve the poor, the distressed and underprivileged kids in our community.

To assist our youth by offering support in the areas of education, healthy living, finance management and interpersonal relationships.

To lessen community tensions by bridging the less fortunate with the privileged and the racial differences.

To prevent youth delinquency and unhealthy behaviors.

To inspire our youth to reach their God given potential and do well unto themselves as well as the community.

With the economic downturn, the family unit has experienced increased levels of stress , leading to a change in home life dynamics. The economic pressures not only have lead to changes in the budgets of american households but have inevitably caused family conflict, increased rate of marital separations and or divorces as well as forcing both parents to be employed in order to meet basic family needs.

These series of stressors have left parents and youth in a vulnerable position, as young kids are spending more time alone, seeking for a place to pass time or simply not being able to plug-in with their parents as they did once before.

At the same time parents, are seeking ways in which their kids can be engaged while mantaining their family budget and the wellbeing of their youths. Conversely, there is the significant number of recent college graduates, unable to obtain employment which has led to increased levels of diminished morale coupled by the fact that they are unable to use their newly acquired knowledge and skills in the market place.
